This road didn't lead us to a far away exotic place, just to a week of quiet and relaxation.
So quiet in fact, you could hear a nose drip.
Once again we returned to Jackson where we...
Sat and enjoyed doing a lot of nothing...
Gazing at the changing skies...
Looking out over distant vistas...
Watching the sheep graze...
Occasionally waiting for the sun to shine through the rain clouds...
Seeing the last of the spring wildflower blooms...
Taking a table from my sister's garage sale...
And placing it, primped and pretty, in it's new home on the road...
And country roads...taking us home.

Hope you all have a wonderful Mother's Day!!

A happy camper!
Am sharing the roads to these lovely parties:
When I read a post like this one I understand the desire for such a vehicle. It sounds idyllic!
ReplyDeleteYes, I sure would like to travel around like this. x
ReplyDeleteJudy, your photos are beautiful! It looks like a lovely and relaxing time away. Even your dog enjoyed it! (loved that closeup of his nose) The table is perfect and your mobile 'living room' looks very cozy and inviting. Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos. Hugs, Pamela
ReplyDeleteThe new finish on the table is great, Judy. Cute!
ReplyDeleteWow, your motor home is as big as a cottage, I think, and it must be comfortable. I would like to have one, but how in the world would I drive it! You sure saw a lot of beautiful vistas.
ReplyDeleteAh, country roads. How beautiful. I love the sheep!
ReplyDeleteHappy to have you at "Oh, the PLACES I've been!"

So fun! I love all those little towns in the Sierra's. We have friends who live in Jackson. Thanks for the pie recipe. My grandma used to make one that was similar. Lemon flavored. Hope your Mother's Day was happy. Mimi

ReplyDeleteThis is what I call the perfect vacation Judy! I love how you roll my friend.
ReplyDeleteI think I love me a table too!!!
hugs...
Hi I am Becky and new to your blog but I can see we are kindred spirits. We use to have an RV and I called it my rolling romantic home with the moto that life was too short to wake up in the same place twice. Do you do this full time or just for vacations? I love camping. We use to be able to camp a lot but when my hubby's job changed we found that we could not get off as we use to. It is a wonderful lifestyle. I have often thought of selling everything and heading out but then gas went up. ha.. So enjoy your country roads. Happy trails to you!
