Dining at the Cottage

Good Evening Everyone:

Before I offer you an invitation to dine,  how do you like the new look?  The 'old girl' has spruced herself up a bit.  Let me tell you it wasn't easy, she is pretty set in her ways, and these new-fangled ideas aren't easy for her to understand, but she put on her big-girl petticoats and forged ahead.

Meanwhile, I have been hard at work sprucing up the dining room.  I finally finished and now I hope you will join us for dinner at the Cottage.

Enjoy your meal....hope you like Corned Beef and Cabbage.

The Luck of the Irish to you..Happy St. Patrick's Day..Judy

  7. Hi Val: Looks like you are talking in Morse Code! HeHe! Thank you so much for your kind comments, as always. I signed up for Picasa (free) but before that went on Google to find tutorials for adding header on blog and making test blog and doing mosiacs. Good and pretty easy directions (if I can do it, anyone can!!) Picasa is great but I still can't figure out how to get my photos from there to blog, am still using computer. But it's great for mosiacs. Put them together on Picasa and then they also show up on my computer so then I transfer them to blog. It's getting more fun!!..Judy

  10. Sister here! I really like the new look, 'old girl!' And, I've had a few meals in that beautiful dining room.....(have pics if anyone wants to see Buddy begging!) The food is always so tasty and drinks seem more enticing and satisfying out of your glasses. In fact, remember I tried to duplicate a little stem set you have (that was not antique) and couldn't find them. But I have to comment, HOW MANY CUPBOARDS AND HUTCHES DO YOU HAVE PLACED in your dining area?! I have to say that cause in my new 'old' house I barely have room for one table!!

Well, I have just gotten on line to see you have three new blogs! So I haven't commented on others yet. As you know, I'm heading to Az on Monday to critter sit our brother's menagerie of animals. And though this weather is 'out of season,' I have to say I'm looking forward to leaving my just-moved-into home as for the first week I was out of hot water....now no heat from my only source....and washing machine leaks! So everyone says, "Welcome to being a home owner!" I am sitting in my car 'out and about' to get Internet and listening to the raindrops. Remember, as kids, we could hear every drop of rain that hit our tin roof? Love that.

Well, carry on. From your jargon, I see you have surpassed my understanding of how to make this all work! I am also enjoying all others on your Blog List when I get a chance. THEY ARE ALL SO BEAUTIFUL!!!
