Now....The Rest of the Story

Good Afternoon Everyone...

I sent out, this morning, my First Day of Spring Story showing all the wonders of this beautiful season but, in reality, I should have sent you this one.  It seems like Mother Nature has other plans for the foothills at this time.  I know she hasn't forgotten us but, I think, she is just dallying along the path and will arrive in her own sweet time.

It is said that good things come to those who wait, so, Mother Nature, I am waiting..and..waiting..and..waiting!

There are some of us that don't mind the wait and are enjoying  a good roll in the snow.

And, still, Happy Spring Day...Now, you know the rest of the story..Judy

It is in the 80's today and leaves are multiplying
on the trees like hangers in a closet!

  2. Judy,
I truly wish for a little of winter. Georgia rarely gets snow. I like the cold. It was 86 today! A little too much heat for Spring. But I am happy for the sunshine.
Thanks for your sweet comments and for following me.

    1. Well, I don't know if I'm ready for 86 degrees yet but a LITTLE warmth would be nice. I am happy for sunshine (even the liquid kind) too..Happy Spring..Judy

    1. Hey Val: I guess I didn't get my thoughts across properly. I even read it to Jerry and he didn't get what I meant. I didn't get anything nasty. What happened was that I was answering DeeDee's comments and evidently another comment came in to me at the same time so my answer to DeeDee didn't get placed in the right spot. So I deleted it and rewrote it, but I thought the whole thing would go away. So do you know if there is any way to get rid of the whole thing? Hope I have been more clear in explaining...And thank you for your special comments to me. I always appreciate and enjoy seeing them..Judy

  11. Hey Sis, All your photographs are wonderful! Well, guess I'm glad to be here in Az cause it is all sunshine! Love the snow too, but I know it would just be COLD at my house. Will be anxious to see what progress my contractor will have made when I get home. Meg left me a roast in the Crock Pot. She told me when it would be done, and it just dawned on me I think I have OVER-COOKED it! Is that possible? For me, I guess so!

The little photo on the side margin--the one that is the side of a building with the word 'ANTIQUES' on it--that looks like Drytown to me! Is it? Usually they have a string of old chairs around that lawn area.

    Love your site! Sid

  12. Hi Sid: Yep, that's Drytown. I think the shop was closed when we went by. It's pretty hard to overcook in the Crock-Pot unless you leave it on for a couple of days!! Could that be the problem? Glad you had a safe trip to AZ. See you when you get back..Love, J
