WISHFUL THINKING...









I was playing around in PicMonkey the other day...

But...be careful what you wish for...

What a surprise we had the next morning when we found that the fairies had vacated the premises..





Either on a dandelion wish or...





...on the backs of dragon flies.


It seems that they have sublet their home to the elves and are going to Florida for the winter!





It turns out...it really was delightful inside...

Since we couldn't go anyplace, I baked an apple pie and the Captain and I had a deliciously, lovely, little snow day.

    Dear Judy, such a delightful post. The photos of your trees full of ice and snow all over. You really will have a white christmas.
    Buddy looks like he likes the snow..
    Your inside treat for the snowy day.. look delicious.. I can smell them from here..

    Maybe the fairies will still pay you a visit. Its a little fairyland there.

    Everything looks so festive, including Buddy! What a cutie! You're Johnson Bros. dishes are wonderful. I haven't seen that pattern. Very cool Judy. And I hadn't thought about the apple candle holder in a while. Such a fun thing to make with little ones.

    Hi Judy, Merry Christmas! It looks beautiful on your side of the country....We are still having 85 degree days. It doesn't feel much like Christmas here. But I am trying t get in the spirit. Your apple pie looks delicious makes me want to bake one myself.

    you guys really got dumped on with snow; it's beautiful but so cold.

    Oh Judy, you really got a lot of snow and it's beautiful. I love snow at Christmas time but of course here in So CA we only get some cold weather and trust me is is really cold.
    Your pictures are so pretty and Buddy looks like he loves the snow.

    Oh my gosh Judy, buddy's so cute. :) What a winter wonderland you're having. It snowed here in Vancouver a little today but I'm afraid it's going to warm up and melt. :) Your pie looks delightful. I just made some gingerbread cookies today. Don't you love this season for baking? Such a wonderful time. :)

    What a beautiful snowfall you received. It looks so pretty in all your photos and the dog seems to enjoy it too. I guess you enjoyed a quiet day/evening at home due to the snow which is sometimes so very nice. A beautiful post Judy.

    Cracked me up seeing Buddy making snow angels. I'm cold in the office but seeing that snow made me really cold. brrrrrrr . And wow those tall trees. Thanks for sharing all your pictures
