I was playing around in PicMonkey the other day...
But...be careful what you wish for...
"I like days when feathers
are snowing...
...and all the caves have
petticoats showing...
...and the air is cold...
...and the wires are humming...
...but you feel all warm...
...with Christmas coming!"
Aileen Fisher
What a surprise we had the next morning when we found that the fairies had vacated the premises..
Either on a dandelion wish or...
...on the backs of dragon flies.
It seems that they have sublet their home to the elves and are going to Florida for the winter!
It turns out...it really was delightful inside...
Since we couldn't go anyplace, I baked an apple pie and the Captain and I had a deliciously, lovely, little snow day.
