GOLD COUNTRY COTTAGE IS BEING FEATURED...

Today is a special day.

I am so excited...

Kris at Junk Chic Cottage is showcasing Gold Country Cottage on her feature, Saturday Spotlight: The Life Behind the Blogger

Kris is such a special and beautiful person and, if you don't know her already, she is one you don't want to miss.  You will fall in love with her blog and the style and grace in which she presents it.

Plan a visit to Junk Chic Cottage today and I hope you will enjoy reading and learning more about all of us who live at Gold Country Cottage.

Thank you, Kris, for this honor, and I hope you will accept these bouquets picked fresh from the Cottage garden and sent with my appreciation.

...Judy...

  1. Congratulations, Judy. The post was absolutely beautiful. I so much enjoyed reading about your home and family. I would never believe that you are old enough to have been married that long. No way! I can't believe you graduated in 1957. No way! You are beautiful! Thanks for sharing.

  8. It was such a pleasure to get to know you. I'm brand new to your blog so I'm looking forward to visiting again. Anyone who has a picture of Tasha Tudor on her blog is all right by me. She is one of my favorites. I have 2 of her books which I treasure that my mother gave me a long time ago.

  10. Hi, I just popped over from Kris' place. I look forward to getting to know you/your blog better. My late husband and I lived on the Eastern side of the Sierra's, he went to school in Auburn and we were very familiar with the western side of the Sierra's as that is where we traveled and went antiquing quite often. You have a darling cottage and beautiful gardens! Blessings to you, Cindy

  12. Judy...I just read your feature at Kris' blog and I was so touched and looking forward to coming for a visit!! I have signed up as a follower and look forward to keeping up with you and maybe learning a thing or two about your gardening skills! :)

Kris and I have met in person...we both live in the Chicago area...she is as wonderful in person as she is on her blog. I look forward to getting to know you, too. And I want to say how sorry I am for your recent loss of Buddy. I know it must have broke your heart. He was a beautiful pup and from one dog lover to another, I'm so sorry.

    Much love,

    XO,
    Jane

  15. I just read your feature at Junk Chic Cottage - great writing.

We were not too far from you recently. My husband's brother and his wife recently moved to Cool, near Auburn.

I haven't been to Grass Valley since 1970. I wonder if it has grown that much?
