One tall witch
With pointy head
Said:
"Time is of the essence
A great philosopher
Once said..."
One medium size witch
With steel wool hair
Said:
"All the spells
Must be
True and fair..."
One tiny witch
With a sharp little chin
Said:
"I will gladly help,
You can
Count me in..."
The old crow in the center
Said:
"I will do my part"
And he was quick to mention
"I have a great big heart..."
When you hear
the clock strike midnight
They will all take to the air
Loaded down with tricks and treats
They have brought along to share...
...lollies for the children
and
houses for the birds...
...jack-o-lanterns
shining brightly...
...and finally..
Soft and caring words.
