COTTAGE AMERICA...

W e l c o m e   T o...

C O T T A G E   A M E R I C A

She has put
 on her cape
and called forth
her super powers
 to bring some patriotic color
to the front porch and beyond,
 just in time for
 the grand
 celebration of summer.

But,
it wouldn't be
a grand celebration
without one important element.

 So, once again,
we bring you the
Grand Illumination...

...a little more refined this year
with touches of
eyelet lace.

A few
added touches to
the dining room.

I will be taking
a little "staycation"
from blogging
here at Cottage America
 to focus on
some unfinished projects...

...a small preview
of something new
to share with you
soon.

"Summertime is
 always the best of
what might be."

Hope
you all have
a safe and wonderful 4th of July
 and to our Canadian friends...
Happy Canada Day...

See you soon.

  1. Oh Judy, you have such a dreamy cottage front porch, especially with those lanterns! Such nice patriotic decorations inside and out. What a cute child size hutch, and look at your 2 life size hutches filled with all kinds of treasures. I love your hanging light too, is that antique? So beautiful and perfect for your cottage.
Wishing you and yours a glorious Fourth!

  16. Judy I will tell you that every time you post a pic of your home's exterior all I can think is Cape May NJ! Your home looks like it was plucked right from Cape May's quaint Victorian neighborhood. I love your front porch...what a wonderful place to relax and watch the grass grow. Love those lanterns too...they look so pretty all lit up. You are all ready for summertime's grand celebration. Hope you and the Captain enjoy a relaxing holiday weekend. Happy 4th to you!

  26. Everything looks so nice, so very patriotic. The picture of Kai looking very stately there sitting on the lounge, he is so cute. I miss my front porch on my last home.
That little doll china cabinet is so cute, never see anything like that around.
