HALLOWEEN IS CALLING...

Halloween is calling
Can't you hear it roar?

Soon there will be little goblins
Knocking at your door...

Once they've all departed
And the moon is on the rise...

You best be watching out for things
With bright and shining eyes.

Because they are still out there
Scary creatures, big and small...

Lock your doors and windows
Choose caution one and all.

How have all of you survived it
We will never know...

I give you all a great big hand
And a standing "O".

For those of you who wondered how Kai likes Halloween...

...it's just another pillow to sleep on!

Unless...he gets called into action...

FYI: This is the closest thing we could get Kai into as a costume

Wait...see the red arrow indicating cash clutched in the hand of the victim?

That sneaky little Spidey gets paid to perform heroic acts!

Thank you all, My Little Pretties...
for staying strong...
and surviving
 so, until next year,
 as they say
bETWEEN tHE mOONLIGHT aND tHE mAGIC...

Blessed Be and Happy Halloween.

Thank you for your visit and well wishes. There are some nasty germs out there and we seem to be a magnet for them so far. Hope you and your family stay healthy and miss the flu season.

That Kai is such a sweetie!! And, let me just tell you, I adore your front porch!! So darling.
Next year, I need to look for some of those paper lanterns to decorate with. I saw one porch that had giant round black and orange lanterns, and they looks so darling.

Have a sweet weekend, and a happy Halloween, my sweet friend!

  13. Hi Judy thanks so much for reading and I'm so glad you enjoyed reading about the scary history of the old jailhouse. I love your pictures you used on this post.....you have some really great ones! I have read about illumination night and adore the cottages up that way, but have never visited that way........maybe someday! I didnt realize you lived near there....looks like such a pretty area! I just love those little cottages all painted in the bright colors and the little victorian porches with all the gingerbread!

  14. Oh my goodness Judy, this is the BEST post!!! Such great pictures and images! My favorites are the cow with red eyes (LOL) and the view through your garden gate to the porch. That one is so cool and really scary! Kai is as cute as can be; I'm with you on the costume thing. Duncan would NEVER allow us to dress him up. BTW, I love your Scottie glasses -- so cute. :)

I hope you all had a Happy Halloween, Judy, and hope you have a good week.

    Hugs,
