"Bless my seeds
With sun and showers
So my garden
Will bloom with flowers."
Sandra Cozzolino
Is it springtime yet? I guess it depends on who you ask.
There are those of us still sitting before our fires, and there are those of us who have had a few nice days, and high hopes that they will continue.
But, it is April, after all, and it has been said that April showers bring May flowers. If we can keep that sentiment in mind, it probably will be a little easier to face the days ahead.
If we can be content with small steps, Mother Nature's plan will be revealed to us little by little, and one by one the pretty flowers will emerge into their finery and beauty and all will be right with the world.
These are the offerings that spring has put forth in the Cottage garden thus far...
Pink Camellia
White Camellia
Daffodil
Lilacs
Forget-Me-Not
Bleeding Heart
Lilly of the Valley
Azelea
David Austin Rose
Lady Banks Rose
Cecil Brunner Rose
Grape Vine
Myrtle
Calla Lily
Hosta
Wisteria
Fern Frond
Maybe human nature will take heed one day and follow in the footsteps of Mother Nature.
Beauty and kindness should be seen everywhere.
It seems so simple.
A few steps at a time..
Little by little.
One by one.
Our prayers are with the families and friends of all those involved in the Boston Marathon tragedy. It seems like there has been too many tragedies lately in this world.
