PATIENCE AND SMILES...

Spring has peeked out but,
like a shy small child,
 has ducked back behind
 Mother Nature's skirts
 once again.

We did have
 "rain drops on roses" but,
if we were looking forward to
a few of our favorite things,
we will be looking
awhile longer.

To bring some small smiles
 into our world,
the garland has,
 once again,
come to
the rescue...

...and a trip to
the Dollar Store
has produced a spot of sunshine and,
even though it is all faux (and cheap),
 it makes life bearable
 while waiting for
the real thing.

A little spot of color
in life is always
good for the soul and
allows us to kick up our heels
once in awhile...

...and a few added
bunnies and chicks
 does make us smile and
 know that our patience
will soon
 be rewarded.

Her secret is patience".

  2. Judy, I like those tulips...real or not. We want color, don't we? I love the little Conga line bunnies. I need to get my bunnies out. I have the fake tulips out already. LOL. Today was nice and sunny here. Not super warm , but nice. Hope you are all well there. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  3. Oh my goodness, Judy, those bunnies on your mantle are the best. I always say I'd love to shop your home! Can you imagine, I'd be trying to barter with you for half the contents! Maybe it's a good thing we don't live closer after all. ;)

  8. Oh yes... trying to have patience and hard to believe April is almost here! Rain today but just lightly. I love your photo of the rain drops on the branches and leaves! they look like clear pearls. So so pretty. I have a little cart like yours... mine is a lamb pulling a little cart.. it was mine as a child and I love it. Your duck cart reminded me to get mine out soon. I do have a few bunnies and Easter things I like to put on my mantel and table. The garland is so pretty and so are the bright colored tulips. We do need color this time of year! I actually bought some flowers from the store to put on my table - they really brighten it up. I hardly ever do that but just needed something pretty. Take care and have a nice week..... xoxo Marilyn

  10. OMGosh, you have sprouts. I looked at my rose canes today--and thought, I hope they are alive...looking pretty sad here in Chicagoland.
