Are we there yet. So true of both myself when my parents took us kids on vacation trips..and when my kids were were in the car for our own trips. Janice
ReplyDeleteThanks, Janice. I don't remember so much that I reacted this way because we were always so happy to go for a car ride as my mom didn't drive and we didn't live close to many friends, but my kids, that was a whole different story. They always thought we were going to look at antiques which wasn't high on their lists..Happy Thursday..xxoJudy
DeleteHappy New Year from northern Virginia, Judy. I am one of those friends who has made comments and enjoyed your blog immensely. Haven't made comments lately but want to tell you that your "I'll be Home for Christmas" post is exquisite. I thoroughly enjoyed every picture and every bit of the words of the song.
ReplyDeleteThe way you decorate inspires me ! You have such a beautiful, comfortable home.
I see you had some snow. We did too, yesterday, finally. I wish we'd have had some for Christmas though. It's beautiful while it lasts, but toooo cold for me.
If I don't always make a comment, just know that I love to visit your home via my computer monitor.
Take care and have a happy, healthy, prosperous new year. May God bless America !
Hugs,
Charlotte in Va.
Thanks so much, Charlotte. Hope this finds you well and enjoying the new year so far. I love hearing from you but if you just want to look that is very OK too. I thank you for your kind words always and yes, we did have snow at Thanksgiving, but not any since, and to our disappointment, not at Christmas either..Happy New Year to you also..xxoJudy
DeleteAll great posts from last year Judy. Lets wish each other a great new year filled with joy and happiness and lots of new blogging posts to come. Have a great week.

I can't wait to see what you have in store for us in the new year...projects, paintings, thoughts on life, current events...I enjoy them all!! Wishing you the best in 2020 and a wonderful weekend. xoxo
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Kim. Glad you enjoyed it and I appreciate your kind words. Don't have a whole lot planned so far but there is one deal that I hope works out. We shall see..Hope the new year is going well so far my friend..xxoJudy
ReplyDeleteI just had a chance to "look back" with you! What fun. I remember each and every post. Do you know you can make your blog into a book? You should! Would be wonderful for your kids and grandson. Or, you can print it out, or print out your favorite ones. I did that about a year ago on my blog, as kind of a history of my life for the past 5 years! I have enjoyed going back and reading it. I put it in a 3 ring binder and will print some again from this last year... one day I'll give it to my son which I know he'll enjoy as some of the posts concerned him and his new family and home. January is going fast, and before we know it, Spring will be here! Take care and enjoy each day! Marilyn
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Marilyn. I know that is such a good idea. My sister has told me this many times. I do have a printed copy of each post that I write, but it is just stuffed in drawers here and there. Someday, maybe I will get up the energy to have it done right. It is funny how quickly you forget even when looking back over a year. I agree that it would be good for the kids to have and, yes, January is going by quickly. All of time is going by too quickly..Happy Sunday..xxoJudy
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful blog and I enjoy my visits here so much!Such inspiration and fun!Blessings!
ReplyDeleteThanks you so much, Maristella. I always enjoy your visits with me and, in turn, when I visit you..Hope you are enjoying the new year so far..Happy Tuesday..xxoJudy
